Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down the adhesions in the muscles to relieve pain and restore normal movement. I concentrate on areas with more tension with added pressure to ensure the sub layers in the muscles are reached. To enable me to successfully work the deeper musculature the muscles need to be relaxed.
